Caring for your Silk

Your Sulky pieces are designed using the highest quality silk available, so it's important that you follow our care instructions and take care of them, so they can take care of you too.

Your Sulky Pieces

  • Pillowcases

    Your pillowcases are machine washable on 30 degrees and we recommend that you wash them inside out.


    You should wash your pillowcase as often as you wash your other pillowcases. It’s important to keep all products in direct contact with your skin as clean as possible. Weekly should be sufficient.

  • Sulkies

    Sulkies are also machine washable but we recommend hand washing where possible to retain the products volume and gloss finish. To get your silk glossy again you can iron your Sulky Silk on low appropriate heat.

    Ideally you should only hand wash your Sulkies if they incur a stain or become dirty due to excessive use. You can pop them in the washing machine as above but please be aware that they may lose some of their initial volume and gloss.

  • Ready-to-Wear

    All of your ready-to-wear Sulky pieces, including our super soft hoodies and Icon tie top, come with their own washing instructions.
